A staged home creates ‘curb-side’ appeal to entice the buyer to enter your home. Once inside, a staged home is set to attract a broad range of potential buyers.
A staged home has been known to sell faster. Fewer days on the market can increase your net equity dollars by eliminating price reductions and double morgages.
A staged home allows the buyer to imagine living in that space; in a home that has been well maintained. My goal is to enhance your home by reducing clutter, re-arrange furniture, update the look of your home and turn your home into a builder’s ‘model home’. Your home will differentiate itself from other homes on the market and it should sell quicker.
The process begins with a free initial consultation which includes taking inventory of your home with pictures and notations. A follow- up will be done with a market report of items to be accomplished to ensure your home will stand out.
Common procedures include: trimming and tiding landscaping; painting rooms a neutral color; reduce oders from pets, cooking and smoke; and de-personalize the rooms so the home looks like a showcase in the eyes of the buyer.
A home should be staged before your realtors open house or brokers tour. You want your home to stand out to the other realtors. Home staging gives your home a professional image on fliers and websites. You do not want your home to get the reputation of being hard to sell.
Staging a home is important and the investment is always less than your first price reduction.
